Meet the author
DBW KIDS PUBLISHING was established in 2019 by founder and Indie Author, Dee Boykin. Dee, is a Philadelphia native, Certified Life coach, and flourishing Entrepreneur. For two decades she’s owned and operates an Income Tax Preparation business and is an active Board member of the Philadelphia Legal Assistance and Community Legal Services. Her new venture of writing children literature has been a passion she is excited to finally embrace. We are excited to get to know you and for you to get to know us! We specialize in picture books for children of all ages. However, our audience may be small, but our messages are Big! Having dealt with trauma as a young girl, Dee discovered writing was a great way to creatively escape. Her childhood experiences make her excellent at empathizing and understanding the young mind. Dee’s positive energy and welcoming smile is loved by many. Our future endeavors will include partnering with non-profit organizations, merchandise sales, book festivals, book tours, and more!
